Saphlux and Leyard Jointly Launch AI+AR Smart Glasses Project
Saphlux and Leyard have jointly unveiled their co-developed AI+AR smart glasses project at the 2025 Leyard Strategic Partner Conference. Integrating cutting-edge technologies such as Micro-LED displays, AI assistants, and intelligent interaction features, the product is among the first AI-enhanced AR glasses to reach mass production. It is designed to deliver immersive, visualized information experiences in scenarios such as conferences and tourism.

The product embraces a lightweight design philosophy, moving away from the bulky structure of traditional AR glasses in favor of a sleek, minimalist aesthetic that blends technological sophistication with professional appeal. Weighing approximately 45 grams, the glasses provide a comfortable, natural fit for extended wear across diverse use cases. The core display module, supplied by Saphlux, features Micro-LED microdisplays that offer both high brightness and low power consumption, ensuring clear visibility even under direct sunlight or in complex lighting conditions—enhancing the overall visual experience.
In terms of functionality, the glasses are equipped with a built-in AI engine that supports real-time translation, automated meeting transcription, speech prompts, and remote content synchronization. These features greatly improve communication efficiency and information delivery, particularly in multilingual meetings, live presentations, and guided tours.
